College of Marin, in partnership with the Marin County Office of Education, is happy to offer another summer of Career Academies for High School students at COM’s Indian Valley Campus. Students can apply online starting April 2 via the Career Academies page.

Academies are free of charge to Marin students (minimal fees may apply) and most offer college units. “It’s a great way for high school students to get a taste of college and careers,” said Dr. Beth Pratt, Dean of Career Technical Education and Workforce Development.

There are six Career Academies for summer 2018:

  • Career Exploration Academy – June 18-21 (1 unit)
  • Digital Gaming Academy – June 18-22 (1 unit)
  • CyberPatriots Academy – July 16-20
  • Entrepreneur Academy – June 25-29 (1 unit)
  • SunPower Solar Design Academy – June 25-29
  • Health Occupations Academy – July 9-12 & 16-19 (2-weeks, 2 units)
